Dr. Cain is certified in all of the cosmetic procedures offered by Innovative Aesthetics, including intense pulse light, LED light therapy, chemical peels, BOTOX®, Juvederm, SmartLipo™, body contouring, Thermage, VASER® LipoSelection, and SmartXide DOT™ Therapy.
Dr. Cain currently serves on the staff of Foundation Surgical Hospital, Conroe Regional Medical Center and the Houston Medical Imaging Center.
Dr. Cain moved to Houston in 1993 to join River Oaks Imaging as a section chief in musculoskeletal imaging and pain management. During his tenure at River Oaks Imaging, Dr. Cain studied pain management extensively and performed thousands of delicate interventional procedures. In 1997, Dr. Cain opened his own pain management and teleradiology practice in Houston, where he could focus on his dual loves of pain management and anti-aging medicine.
Dr. Jim Cain’s 30 years of experience in radiology and pain management make him greatly suited for the realm of aesthetics. Delicate techniques required in pain management procedures require precise hand-eye coordination and skilled hands. While he is the Medical Director at Innovative Aesthetics, he is also the lead radiologist at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Cain is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine, the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, the Texas Medical Association, The American Medical Association, The International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM), and the American Academy of Aesthetic Physicians.
Dr. Cain is a native of Longview, Texas and earned his undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 1981 and completed his internship in the Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Cain completed his radiology residency and fellowship in body imaging at University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas. He was board certified in radiology in 1988 and entered into practice in San Antonio, Texas in 1989.
Dr. Cain’s years in pain management have cemented his belief that any type of treatment should not hurt. At Innovative Aesthetics, he accomplishes this by using the smallest tools possible and judicious use of sedation. Dr. Cain’s years of experience in hospital settings ensure that Innovative Aesthetics is an extremely sterile and safe treatment facility.
