How Does the SmartXide DOT Laser Work?

Prior to the procedure, Dr. Cain will apply a topical numbing cream to the area to be treated. At each stop, the laser emits a pulse of laser energy to the skin, leaving small white marks in a dot pattern. This painless procedure lasts approximately 15 - 45 minutes depending upon the size of the treatment area.
